Following the unexpected cancellation of their "International Players" Tour for the last quarter of 2024, the Black Keys sought to reassure fans of a "similarly exciting and intimate experience" in a revised North American schedule. And without further adieu, we arrive here. First announced in February, the "No Rain, No Flowers" Tour recently expanded with over 30 new shows due to growing anticipation for the titular album. The 5x GRAMMY Award-winning act drummed up thunderous hype ahead of its release through the enticingly groovy "Babygirl" and Hot Rock hit "The Night Before," two rave-rated singles that’ll doubtlessly hypnotize you once they come LIVE in concert. No Rain, No Flowers (2025) is a uniquely personal project for the pair, one that aims to culminate into evocative and colorfully inspired music best heard from the stage.
The multi-awarded tandem of guitarist-vocalist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney began their tenure as a modestly successful independent act but has since developed into a tour-de-force figure in alternative music. Their upcoming gig, which mainly celebrates their latest efforts, will also glean from a decades-deep discography. In particular, fans may expect setlist appearances from the Black Keys' 2010 breakthrough album, Brothers, which features fan-faves "Tighten Up" and "Howlin’ for You," and 2011’s acclaimed El Camino, known for the double-platinum "Gold on the Ceiling" and the double GRAMMY-winning signature hit "Lonely Boy." Pop-rock power trio the Velveteers ("Father of Lies," "Charmer and the Snake") will open, throwing down vintage Zeppelin-based hard rock with garage punk sensibilities as they come off the heels of their new release, A Million Knives.
